Rosendahl - Wodden figurines songbirds ernest

Description

Kay Bohjesen designed this songbird in 1950 and named it Ernest, after her father, who was her biggest encourager.

A simple, well behaved little bird that enchants wherever he lands.
He was born in a family of songbirds, mas soon he left his nest and never learned to sing...

Let him land in your window sill and you will have a friend for life!

Ernest is part of the wooden animal collection designed by Kay Bojesen between 1935 and 1957 for Rosendahl.

Rosendahl produces these wooden creatures, still today, in close cooperation with Kay Bojesen's family.
