Holme Gaard

In early 1825, the widow of Count Christian Danneskiold-Samsoe won the Danish king's permission to establish a glassworks at Holmegaard Mose.
During the twentieth century, designers have developed and shaped objects in Holme Gaard.
This was the beginning of a long and proud tradition, and as a result, up to today, some of the best artists in Denmark are associated with glass production in Holme Gaard.
