Empatia suspension lamps - Artemide

Description

Each Empatia lamp is made in Italy by a master glass craftsman.

The high interest in the potential of this material, resulted in the co-working with the master glass craftsmen, to control the special malleability of the venetian glass and to work on the balance between surface and light, and between densities and subtle transparencies.

Pure craftwork objects, each one unique in every way

Transparency and opacity are wisely dosed to obtain a glass that reflects light without glaring and loosing efficiency.
The light is controlled with maximum yield, and driven by the glass diffuser through a transparent tube with a low absorption coefficient.
