Description
Unmistakably a design concept by Marcel Wanders.
Cyborg: a term created in 1960 by Manfred Clynes, used even today. Cyborg is an organism that teams up both artificial and natural systems, becoming a superior being.
In 2012, Marcel Wanders designs the Cyborg Collection, for Magis, also teaming up both systems, presented by the materials that were used to complete the chairs.
In the "Club" version, Wanders, chooses to use wicker fiber - well-known for its strength and durability, and for the high level of beauty and comfort, all that an expert craftsman can produce - and strong and robust polycarbonate.
The legs and cushin are in a white or black opaquecolor, made by air-moulded polycarbonate; on the other hand, the back of the chairs are made out of natural wicker.
